Microsoft has been struggling over years with rendering content on high-DPI displays. Even Microsoft's Surfaces showing this problem on high dpi scaling. Now Microsoft promises that some issues are fixed.
Microsoft employee James Burrage has published a blog post Display Scaling changes for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update discussing the improvements made in Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

They have fixed several rendering problems on high dpi displays, but there are still things to improve (desktop icon scaling for instance). The Technet blog post is rather technical, but tech focused users may found helpful information.
