[German]Microsoft has just announced that barriers to upgrading to Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903) has been removed. This includes the issue that USB media can block a feature update during installation.
The information about the progress in removing installation blockers for a feature update to the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903) was reaching me via the following Twitter message.
[Issue Resolved] Loss of functionality in Dynabook Smartphone Link app. Read more here: https://t.co/SmJPwl7q5B.

The status regarding the Windows 10 Version 1903 upgrade status is maintained by Microsoft on this website. .
Loss of Functionality in the Dynabook Smartphone Link App
The first feature whose upgrade blockade has been removed is the Dynabook Smartphone Link app. Some users noticed a loss of functionality when using the Dynabook Smartphone Link app after updating to Windows 10, version 1903. This loss of functionality can affect the display of phone numbers in the call menu and the ability to accept calls on the Windows PC.
For this reason, Microsoft had set an upgrade lock for systems on which this app is installed. Now, on July 11, 2019, the problem has been fixed and the upgrade lock for Windows 10 Version 1903 removed.
Installation Errors with USB Drives and Memory Cards
Previously, the function update to the Windows 10 May 2019 Update (Version 1903) could fail if USB media or memory cards were present on the system. I had reported in April 2019 in the blog post Windows 10 V1903: External USB storage as Upgrade blocker on this issue.
If an external USB device (or an internal USB hard disk) is connected when installing Windows 10, version 1903, or if an SD memory card is inserted in a drive, Windows 10 may display an error message asking "This PC cannot be upgraded to Windows 10" during the upgrade process. This message is caused by an improper reassignment of the drive during installation.
For this reason, Microsoft had set an upgrade lock on systems that were removed on July 11, 2019. So the problem is solved.
Audio does not work with Dolby Atmos headphones and home theater
The last bug fixed the Dolby Atmos audio feature. The Dolby Atmos extension can be purchased for home cinema (free license extension) or Dolby Atmos for headphones (paid extension) via the Microsoft Store. After upgrading to Windows 10, version 1903, audio data may be lost due to a license configuration error.
This occurs because of a problem with a Microsoft Store license component where licensees cannot connect to the Dolby Access app and activate Dolby Atmos extensions. The function simply cannot be used. Therefore, Microsoft had set an upgrade lock that will be lifted on July 11, 2019. Despite the three fixes, there are still some open errors documented in the KB article.
