[English]Microsoft has released a special update KB5001028 for Windows 10 version 1909 on February 11, 2020. This is supposed to fix a problem with WLAN connections that leads to a stop error.
A A list of updates can be found on this Microsoft website. I have pulled out the details below. The update installation requires an existing current Servicing Stack Updates (SSUs).
Update KB5001028 for Windows 10 V1909
Out-of-band update KB5001028 raises the OS build on Windows 10 version 1909 to 18363.1379. The update is available for Windows 10 version 1909 and Windows Server version 1909. The purpose of the update is to fix the following issue:
Updates an issue that causes a device to stop working and display a BlueScreen when you try to use a Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3) connection.
The BlueScreen with stop error 0x7E was caused by nwifi.sys when users try to use a Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3) connection. This issue occurs after installing KB4598298 (Jan. 2021) or KB4601315 (Feb. 2021).
This update is automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update. This update is also available from the Microsoft Update Catalog and via WSUS. This patch is also available as a Dynamic Cumulative Update. Microsoft strongly recommends that you install the latest Service Stack Update (SSU) KB4601395 for your operating system before installing the latest Cumulative Update (LCU).
For the update, Microsoft states that the certificate issue (see Windows 10 forgets certificates during upgrade) is still present. Details can be found in KB5001028.
In addition, Microsoft has released an update directly for the Windows Update client to improve its reliability. This is rolled out outside of Windows Update if the machine is compatible and not an LTSC variant, and updates have not been blocked via GPO.
