As of July 12, 2022, the developers have released WordPress 6.0.1. This is a maintenance update that contains 31 bug fixes. Details about the fixes can be found in the release notes.

In the last update to WordPress, I noticed that a large part of the articles were missing *deleted*, so it is highly recommended to make a backup
It's always recommended to make a backup, before you upgrade WordPress, a translation, template or a plugin.
