[German]The developers of Thunderbird have released another update of the email client to version 102.13.0 on July 5, 2023. It is a bug fix update, which should eliminate bugs and fixes also vulnerabilities.

According to the Thunderbird release notes, the following bug fixes and security fixes have been made in this version:
- Upstream RNP version numbers now recognized as official in about:support
- The security fixes listed in this advisory, some of which are rated as high, have been made.
- Furthermore, there is the change that the release notes, which can be retrieved via the "about:" dialog, are now opened in the default web browser.
The system requirements for the different operating system versions (see here for more details):
- Windows: Windows 7 or higher
- Mac: Mac OS X 10.12 or higher
- Linux: GTK+ 3.14 or higher
