[German]Google has released updates to the Google Chrome browser 116 in the stable and extended channels for Mac, Linux and Windows as of September 5, 2023. These are security updates that are rolled out and are intended to eliminate vulnerabilities (classified as "high"). Furthermore, there is an update of the Chrome app for Android as well as for iOS.

The relevant entry for Chrome 116 may be found in the Google blog. The Extended Channel has been updated to 116.0.5845.180 for Windows and 116.0.5845.179 for Mac. The stable channel has been updated to 116.0.5845.179 for macOS and Linux. For Windows, the update updates the browser to version 116.0.5845.179/.180. As usual, no details are given. Chrome will be rolled out to systems via the automatic update feature in the next few days. Chrome for Android 116.0.5845.172
Furthermore, Google updated and distributed Chrome for Android to version 116.0.5845.172 on September 5, 2023, according to this Google post. This version includes stability and performance improvements, as well as the same security fixes as mentioned above for the desktop versions of the browser.
Chrome for iOS 116.0.5845.146
As of September 5, 2023, Google has also updated the Chrome for iOS app to version 116.0.5845.177, according to this Google post; and should be available in the Apple iTunes Store. This version includes stability and performance improvements.
