Quick reminder or information for users or administrators of VMware by Broadcom vCenter installations. As of today, April 23, 2025, a change in vCenter updates will come into effect, so that updates can only be downloaded and installed with update tokens.

Blog reader Tobias K. reminded me of the date again today and sent me the screenshot above. So if you still need updates, you should check today whether you can still get them without tokens. After that, the tokens should be requested in the Broadcom dashboard for the VMware Cloud Foundation.
