[German]Will Redmond offer a subscription version of Microsoft 365 for end users soon. This could be the case, because users have reported that their Office 365 subscription has been renamed.
About a year ago, there were reports that Microsoft wanted to offer something like Microsoft 365 to end users. I had reported that in the article Microsoft 365 is coming for consumers Microsoft's boss Satya Nadella indicated in a interview with journalists in January 2019 that Microsoft 365 will also be available for consumers (i.e. outside corporate environments).
Microsoft introduced Microsoft 365 in mid-2017 for enterprise environments. It is a subscription model that allows companies to rent Windows 10, the Office 365 portfolio, and Enterprise Mobility + Security (a collection of features equipped with identity and device management tools) for their employees.
Is Microsoft 365 coming soon for end users?
Various US media, including Mary Foley, report observations of various users whose office was suddenly renamed Microsoft 365.

In recent days, some Twitter users have published screenshots showing that their Office 365 products are being renamed "Microsoft 365". Here is one such tweet.

Within this tweet more users have posted screenshots of renamed Office 365 products. Mary Foley asked Microsoft if there was a decision to rename Office 365 ProPlus to Microsoft 365 ProPlus. A spokesperson then replied, "No, we're not going to rename Office 365 ProPlus to Microsoft 365 ProPlus. Customers can continue to purchase Office 365 ProPlus without Windows and Intune. "
It remains thus everything quite speculative. Microsoft may announce something on October 2, 2019 (Surface Event) or at Ignite in early November. We have to wait and see.
