Security patches for Cisco IOS and IOS XE (Sept. 2020)
[German]Cisco has released critical security updates for its IOS and IOS XE network operating systems. The updates close a total of 24 critical vulnerabilities in the products. It should therefore be patched promptly.
Cisco security advisories for Network OS
[German]Administrators of Cisco products (switches etc.) need to patch. That's because the manufacturer issued six security advisories this week with warnings about weak points in products.

[German]The Windows version of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client has a vulnerability in it's auto update, that can be misused for privilege escalation. A patch is available.
Cisco and the Kr00k Wi-Fi vulnerability
[German]The CVE-2020-3172 vulnerability in Broadcom Wi-Fi chips also affects several Cisco products (switches, etc.). The company released a security advisory this week, but has not yet released firmware updates to close the vulnerability.

Cisco has released various security updates for products such as Firepower software and ASA, which are intended to close security gaps. There is a Security Advisory for Webex Meetings.
Cisco warns against state hacker attacks on networks
[German]The vendor of switches and other network components warns its customers against attacks by government hackers on critical infrastructure. Vulnerabilities in Cisco products can be a gateway for such attacks.
